Week 19: The Barrier

204lbs: I know. I'm still 204lbs BUT in the last 3 weeks technically I've lost 15lbs (exaggerate much?) because it would seem that for every pound I lost I'd put on 2lbs and lost 1 then put on another 2 etc. It's been bumpy!

I decided to change my goal of 2lbs in 2 weeks to just 1lb in 2 weeks so I could get a better handle on it and be less frustrated. There's really no point in getting frustrated over this because ultimately I know my body and I know what I need to do in order to shift the weight. And I needed a timeout. It's possible the weight has been fluctuating because maybe I've been gaining some muscle? I did do my first push-up a few days ago. ;) But maybe I shouldn't have eaten that burger last week - it was my first since October, give me a break! The 1lb in 2 weeks worked as of this morning. I'm starting again at 204lbs and reaching for 200.

To get to 200 I've switched up my routine. I'm going to try exercising for 30 minutes in the morning and 30 at night. I've been putting in the minimum because of my back but I think I can handle more now.

I have 15 weeks until graduation and am 20lbs down in 19 weeks. Do you think I can lose another 20 by graduation?
